Workflow designers using Zenium™-powered products from Imagine Communications will be able to drag and drop the codec to create practical processes as required.
JPEG2000 is a popular and practical codec, adopted by a number of major broadcasters as an internal format. Its wavelet compression provides excellent image quality and good efficiency. Comprimato’s JPEG2000 codec technology uses the massively parallel processing available on today’s GPUs and CPUs to achieve high-speed processing, consistent latency and high quality.
The Comprimato codec is available as a software plug-in. Zenium is Imagine Communications’ next-generation modular platform for building smarter virtual applications and services. Zenium-powered products enable media organizations to use plug-ins, or micro-services, to quickly and easily create custom solutions.
