C++ Developer | Live Video Streaming C++ | Small Friendly Team | Global Clients | Agile | Hybrid/Brno
Who we are
Comprimato is a renowned provider in the media technology industry, specializing in live video encoding and media processing software. Our products empower top global broadcast productions to meet their on-premises and cloud production needs. We simplify the complexity of live video workflows into user-friendly interfaces while continuing to lead with innovations like our GPU-accelerated JPEG2000 codec—the first and fastest of its kind. Trusted by industry leaders, our technology ensures high quality and performance across various platforms.
How we work
We are small, but we do big things: we boast unique technology and commercial success, yet we remain a pleasantly intimate company (fewer than 20 people). In terms of organization, we are lean and flexible, with no layers of impenetrable management – everyone is a full team member, and each developer is responsible for the entire development cycle from design to final commit or deployment. We organize development in weekly sprints and define priorities using quarterly OKRs. We conduct mutual code reviews and continuous integration and QA are automated.
Our stack includes:
- C/C++
- Video & image processing (FFmpeg, GStreamer, video streaming)
- Java and frontend technologies: Javascript, HTML, CSS
- Python/Bash (our tests are in Python)
- Linux, Linux/POSIX API
- CUDA, GPU programming
- Docker
- Cloud (AWS)
- Git, GitLab CI, Jira
Who are we looking for?

- Designing, developing, debugging, benchmarking, and maintaining real-time video and audio processing features in C++
- Conducting mutual design and code reviews with colleagues
- Collaborating on prototyping, specifying new features, and researching related information – standards, protocols, compatibility with third-party products, etc.
- A regular presence in Brno is a big advantage
If interested and experienced, the job may also involve:
- Automating build and release processes
- Working on the user interface – collaborating on UX, developing, and maintaining the product UI
- Technical communication with customers when developing new features
